Agorapulse Review 2026: $79 a User, 68 Reviews Analyzed

Trustpilot puts 16% of Agorapulse's 57 reviews at 1 star (checked Oct 15, 2026), while Capterra UK puts 0.8% of 713 at 1 or 2 stars. If you schedule posts, the 1-star pool tells you what can break. A US social admin wrote that tokens "will just outright fail from time to time, and thus your scheduled posts will fail to post as well" (Trustpilot, Jan 30, 2026).

Plan gaps hit buyers after they pay. David paid for a year, then learned that tagging a reply needed "the next level of subscription" (Trustpilot, Jun 26, 2024). Agorapulse bills per user, and Capterra UK scores value for money at 4.4, its lowest sub-score.

My view: price Agorapulse around the posts that must go out on time, and count every feature one tier up as part of what you pay.

This review covers the 4 plans, the refund rules, what 68 users say, 5 limits to check before you pay and 4 alternatives.

TL;DR#

  • The product: Agorapulse is a per-user social media tool. You schedule posts, answer comments, DMs and Google reviews in one inbox, and run reports across 11 networks, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, Threads, Bluesky and Reddit.

  • What you get for $79: Standard gives one user 10 social profiles, unlimited scheduling, the inbox, Google review replies and white-label reports, billed annually.

  • Where you pay more: approvals, assignments and live chat support start on Professional at $119 a user. Bulk scheduling, saved replies and sentiment need Advanced at $149. Listening, competitor benchmarking and X management sell as add-ons with no listed price.

  • Bill for 3 people on 10 profiles: $237 a month on Standard ($2,844 a year), $357 on Professional ($4,284 a year), $447 on Advanced ($5,364 a year), billed annually.

  • Ratings: 4.6 on Capterra UK (713 reviews), 9.7/10 on TrustRadius (558 reviews and ratings), 4.6 on Software Advice (713 reviews) and 4.0 on Trustpilot (57 reviews), all checked Oct 15, 2026.

  • Where I come down: Buy Agorapulse Professional at $119 a user a month (billed annually) if 2 to 5 people answer comments, DMs and Google reviews on 10 profiles or fewer and need post approvals. A solo marketer who only schedules posts should start on Buffer Essentials at $5 per channel. A team hunting buyers in Reddit or Slack threads needs CommunityTracker Pro at $99 a month, and a team past 10 profiles should price Hootsuite Professional first. One person who answers the inbox alone can stay on Standard at $79.

How I Analyzed Agorapulse#

Data pulled: Thursday, Oct 15, 2026, India time. I checked every price, plan limit, policy and rating in this review that day, across Agorapulse's plans, its policies and four review sites.

  • User reviews read: I read 68 user reviews: every English review on Trustpilot (29), the newest 10 on TrustRadius, 25 on Software Advice and 4 on Capterra UK. They run from May 2019 to Jan 2026. I quote 26 of them below, in 7 liked and 7 disliked points.

  • Plans: I loaded agorapulse.com/pricing with both annual and monthly billing toggled, then read all 100 rows of the comparison table and the add-on cards. I priced each plan for 1, 3 and 5 users.

  • Policies: I read the Terms of Service (last revision 09-2026, Sections 6.1 to 6.5) and seven help center articles on refunds, cancellation, per-user pricing, add-ons, data retention, the trial and the end of the Free plan.

  • Quote rule: I quote a review only when I can link to it and copy its words exactly. Every quote names the reviewer (or their role) and the date the site shows.

Agorapulse#

Image source: the live Agorapulse homepage at https://www.agorapulse.com/, captured Oct 15, 2026 with banners dismissed.

Agorapulse started in 2011 and runs out of Paris and San Francisco. It connects 11 networks: Facebook, Instagram, Threads, X, LinkedIn, YouTube, Pinterest, Google Business Profile, TikTok, Bluesky and Reddit.

Your team works in four places:

  • Posting: you write one post, adapt it per network, and place it on a unified calendar. Drafts, a content library and an AI writing assistant come on every plan.

  • Social inbox: comments, DMs and Google reviews arrive in one stream, and from Professional up you assign them to teammates.

  • Client reporting: profile, post and community management reports come on every plan, along with white-label exports and a basic ROI report tied to Google Analytics.

  • Archie: the AI content agent writes posts. Since July 2026 it also runs as a separate free plan for Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and YouTube.

Agorapulse runs the profiles you own and the comments people leave on them. The Advanced Listening add-on tracks brand mentions across social, blogs and news, but no plan scores posts for buying intent or sends outreach to their authors.

Features#

  • Publishing on every plan: unlimited scheduling, multi-profile posts, drafts, link tracking, AI alt text and the content library.

  • Publishing on Professional: first comments and threads, calendar notes, an Instagram grid preview, product tagging, PulseLink in bio, internal comments and one-step approvals.

  • Publishing on Advanced: bulk scheduling, publishing queues, bulk approval, custom fields, post labels, recommended posting times and shared calendars. Multi-step approvals sit on Custom.

  • Inbox on every plan: comment moderation, Google review moderation, inbox search, inline translation, contact history and automated moderation.

  • Inbox on Professional: ad comment moderation, assignments, reply collision detection and custom inbox views. Advanced adds saved replies, labels, sentiment detection, spam controls and bulk actions.

  • Report tiers: Standard covers profile, post and community reports plus white-label exports. Professional adds a team performance report. Advanced adds group reports, label reports, scheduled emails, ads reports and the advanced ROI report.

  • Connected apps: Bitly, Google Analytics, Google Drive, ChatGPT and Claude on every plan, Canva from Professional and Zapier from Advanced. HubSpot, Salesforce, Slack, Microsoft Teams, Looker Studio and the reports API sit on Custom.

  • Help channels: email on every plan, live chat from Professional, and stated first-response times of under 6 hours, 2 hours, 1 hour and 30 minutes from Standard up to Custom.

  • Data retention: 6 months on Standard, 12 on Professional and 24 on Advanced and Custom.

Where I land on features: Standard works for one person who posts and answers the inbox alone. The moment a second person writes posts that someone else signs off, budget for Professional, and the moment you schedule 50 posts from a spreadsheet, budget for Advanced.

Pricing#

Agorapulse charges per user, and each extra user costs the same as the first. Every self-serve plan includes 10 social profiles for the whole organization, so a third teammate adds cost but no profiles.

I took these prices from agorapulse.com/pricing on Oct 15, 2026, with tax excluded. Annual plans bill 12 months upfront.

  • Standard ($79 per user/month billed annually, $99 per user/month billed monthly): 10 profiles, unlimited posts, the inbox, Google review moderation, white-label reports, 6 months of data, email support.

  • Professional ($119 per user/month billed annually, $149 per user/month billed monthly): adds approvals, assignments, ad comments, link in bio, Canva, live chat and 12 months of data.

  • Advanced ($149 per user/month billed annually, $199 per user/month billed monthly): adds bulk scheduling, saved replies, labels, sentiment, shared calendars, Zapier, ads and advanced ROI reports, and 24 months of data.

  • Custom (quote): unlimited profiles, SSO, custom roles, multi-step approvals, AI reply suggestions, CRM and Slack integrations, the API and a dedicated customer success manager.

Three setups, priced on annual billing:

  • 1 person, 8 profiles, inbox only: Standard at $79 a month, or $948 a year. That works out to $9.88 per profile per month.

  • 3 people, 10 profiles, approvals needed: Professional at 3 x $119 = $357 a month, or $4,284 a year.

  • 5 people, 10 profiles, bulk scheduling: Advanced at 5 x $149 = $745 a month, or $8,940 a year.

The annual discount differs by plan. You save $240 a year per user on Standard (20%), $360 on Professional (20%) and $600 on Advanced (25%).

For example, 3 people on monthly Professional pay $447 a month, or $5,364 a year. That equals 3 people on annual Advanced, so if you plan to stay 12 months, annual billing buys you the higher tier for the same money.

Add-ons raise the bill, and Agorapulse publishes no price for any of them:

  • Extra profiles: profile 11 and up cost an add-on per profile, priced in the subscription settings.

  • Advanced Listening, Advocacy and Competitive Benchmarking: each one routes you to a demo.

  • X Lite and X Plus: X publishing, and X inbox plus reports, each priced per X profile through sales.

Policies to read before you pay:

  • Trial: you get 30 days with no card. The help center splits that into a first 15 days plus one 15-day extension you claim within 90 days of signup. At the end, Agorapulse asks for payment details. Under Section 6.1 of the terms, it charges a card you already saved on the billing date.

  • Seats at checkout: every active or invited user in your trial counts as a paid seat when you subscribe, so remove extra invites first.

  • Refund rules: monthly plans carry no refund. A first annual purchase carries no refund. A partial refund may apply only when you cancel an annual self-service renewal within 30 days of the renewal date (refund policy).

  • Renewal terms: monthly plans renew each month and annual plans renew each year. Agorapulse emails a reminder one week before an annual renewal.

  • Cancellation: only the organization Owner can cancel, from the Subscription settings. You keep access until the paid period ends, and under Section 6.4 of the terms you owe the fees for the rest of your term.

  • Custom plans: you must cancel at least 60 days before renewal by email to cs@agorapulse.com or your customer success manager, or the plan renews for another year.

  • Seats you stop using: removing a person from your organization does not remove the seat from your subscription. You remove the seat in the subscription plan too, or you keep paying.

  • Notice of price changes: Section 6.3 gives you 30 days' written notice before Agorapulse changes plans or fees, and you can switch or leave in that window.

  • Payment: Visa, Mastercard, American Express and PayPal. Bank transfer needs annual Advanced with at least 2 users and a contract of $3,576 or more, which matches exactly 2 x $149 x 12.

  • Nonprofits: eligible nonprofits get 20% off self-serve plans, users and profiles, but not off Listening or the X add-ons.

Where I land on price: Professional at $119 fits a team of 2 to 5, because approvals and assignments start there. Pay annually only after the trial proves your posts publish on every network, because the first year carries no refund.

Pros#

  • Standard includes the inbox and Google review moderation at $79 a user, billed annually.

  • One-step approvals cost $119 a user on Professional.

  • Agorapulse publishes monthly and annual prices for all three self-serve plans.

  • The 30-day trial runs on the Advanced plan, so you see the Advanced features before you settle on a lower tier.

  • Each plan carries a first-response target, from under 6 hours on Standard to under 1 hour on Advanced.

Cons#

  • The 10 profiles stay at 10 when you add users, and profile 11 needs a paid add-on or a Custom quote.

  • Standard has no live chat support, no approvals and no Canva integration.

  • Bulk scheduling and saved replies need Advanced at $149 a user.

  • HubSpot, Salesforce and Slack integrations sit only on Custom.

  • Listening, competitor benchmarking and X management have no public price.

  • The Free plan ended on Jul 6, 2026, and monthly plans carry no refund.

Summary#

Agorapulse sells a shared pool of 10 profiles and charges for each person who logs in. Write down your headcount and the tier where your must-have feature lives before the trial ends, because those two numbers set the bill.

What Real Users Are Saying About Agorapulse in 2026#

Agorapulse scores 4.0 or more on every site I checked, and its low scores cluster on posting failures, refunds and plan gates.

Capterra UK shows 435 five-star and 4 one-star reviews. Value for money scores 4.4, below ease of use (4.6) and customer service (4.7).

Software Advice: 4.6/5 (713 reviews, checked Oct 15, 2026)#

Software Advice shares the Gartner review pool with Capterra, so it shows the same 713 reviews. Functionality is its lowest sub-score at 4.3.

TrustRadius: 9.7/10 (558 reviews and ratings, checked Oct 15, 2026)#

TrustRadius lists 343 written reviews. The newest one dates from Apr 1, 2025.

Trustpilot: 4.0/5 (57 reviews, checked Oct 15, 2026)#

On Trustpilot, 65% of reviews give 5 stars and 16% give 1 star, with 20 reviews in the last 12 months. Trustpilot marks Agorapulse as a company that invites reviews and has not replied to negative ones.

What users liked#

  1. One inbox in place of each network's login. Richard Tubb says his team treats Agorapulse as "'Inbox Zero' for Social Media, as it allows us to monitor all our different social media platforms from one place" (Trustpilot, Nov 21, 2025). Leslie Samuel calls the unified inbox "the number one reason I use Agorapulse" (Trustpilot, Nov 21, 2025). A nonprofit manager lists "Bringing all business social media into one location" first among the pros (TrustRadius, Apr 1, 2025).

  2. Client sign-off inside the tool. "The approval process with clients is one of our favourite features" (Oh So Social, Trustpilot, Nov 21, 2025). Amy M. writes: "Our team has enjoyed using shared calendars with clients. The approval process has been easy for our team and clients" (Software Advice, Nov 2020). Mauro G. picked it for "managing multiple social networks with scheduling and customer approval process" (Software Advice, Jul 2020).

  3. Support with names attached. A marketing manager running 11 brand accounts writes: "The account manager and support team are real humans, hands-on and extremely helpful" (TrustRadius, Dec 5, 2023). Adam H. adds that when COVID hit, "Agora was more than willing to forego a month's payment until we knew what was going to happen to our company" (Software Advice, Nov 2020).

  4. Reports that show ROI to a client. Autumn, an agency owner, says the reporting "really helps me demonstrate ROI for my clients" (Trustpilot, Nov 21, 2025). Stephanie writes: "I especially love the Google Analytics integration, which shows the ROI of our social media efforts" (Trustpilot, Nov 26, 2025). Lincoln, a US owner, values tools "that allow you to review return on investment and present it to stakeholders" (Capterra UK, Jan 1, 2026).

  5. A price that holds up as the team grows. Bruce M. chose it because "Other platforms were a little less expensive for 1 user and limited features, but got more expensive when you added 3 or 4 users" (Software Advice, Mar 2022). Alissa S. writes that her agency "needed to add a lot of profiles, which proved to be cost-prohibitive on most other software" (Software Advice, Sep 2020).

  6. Ad comments next to organic ones. Stephanie says that "being able to monitor and respond to Meta Ad comments directly from the platform has been a huge time-saver." Jean moved from Hootsuite "because I needed YouTube/TikTok support in the inbox" (Trustpilot, Oct 7, 2023).

  7. An Instagram grid you can plan. Tom Chappell at a BMW and MINI dealer writes that the grid preview "was one of the reasons I chose Agorapulse over its competitiors" (TrustRadius, Sep 18, 2023).

The capture is an excerpt covering the title block, the score of 9 out of 10, the use case section and both pros and cons lists. The rest of the review sits below the capture.

What users disliked#

  1. Posts that fail when a token breaks. The Trustpilot social admin writes that when tokens fail, "your scheduled posts will fail to post as well," and that support said to "renew the token and schedule the post again" (Trustpilot, Jan 30, 2026). Emily Anne Buck reports that "Certain size videos don't upload to LinkedIn but if I do it directly from the LinkedIn page, it will allow that size" (TrustRadius, Sep 12, 2023). A social media account manager says "it feels buggy sometimes" (TrustRadius, Sep 12, 2023).

  2. Report data you have to double-check. Adam, a head of ops, rates Agorapulse 1 star and lists "Critical reporting bug persisted for months" after an Instagram Stories problem (Capterra UK, Sep 30, 2025). The nonprofit manager on TrustRadius writes that "Reporting doesn't work well when trying to determine how many items an agent worked in a day" and that the automatic sentiment tag "is often inaccurate."

  3. Refunds that never came. "We formally notified the company in writing to stop billing until the bug was resolved, yet charges continued" (Agent Upgrade, Trustpilot, Oct 1, 2025). Kamal Fayad asked to cancel a basic plan, "But they refused to refund, claiming by their refund policy" (Trustpilot, Oct 1, 2023).

  4. Features one tier above the plan you bought. David paid for a year, and a rep told him "we need the next level of subscription for this basic function" when he tried to tag a reply (Trustpilot, Jun 26, 2024). His update says a second rep reversed that answer and refunded the $588. An Australian agency writes that a plan change "would effectively double our monthly fees" (AgencyMan, Trustpilot, Jul 9, 2025).

  5. A seat price that stings for one person. Amaiya D'sa asks for "cheaper or more flexible plans" for "small businesses and solo creators" (Trustpilot, Oct 16, 2025). The TrustRadius marketing manager calls it "Slightly pricier for a single subscriber." Robyn Mays wrote that "for a small business only managing a few profiles the entry plan is a bit pricy" (Trustpilot, Nov 28, 2019).

  6. Waits measured in hours. The Trustpilot social admin writes: "The lowest wait time I've ever been told when asking to speak to a person was 6 hours." The nonprofit manager on TrustRadius lists "Their team can be somewhat slow to respond in the event of issues (sometimes several hours)." Six hours is also the first-response limit Agorapulse states for Standard.

  7. Edits across 2 or more profiles. Adam H. names "not being able to easily adjust a post when it is scheduled across multiple different accounts" as his one large con. Chelsey M. Gray wants "the flexibility to edit the text in the caption when cross-posting the same post across channels" (TrustRadius, Sep 15, 2023). Mauro G. says the mobile apps "don't offer all the features of the desktop/web version."

One 2023 review shows how the plans moved. Chelsey M. Gray praised "Social listening included" with no add-on fee, while in October 2026 Agorapulse sells Advanced Listening as an add-on behind a demo.

How far each Agorapulse rating holds up#

Before you lean on a 4.6, look at how each site collected it:

  • Low-score share: Capterra UK counts 6 reviews of 1 or 2 stars out of 713, which is 0.8%. Trustpilot puts 16% of its reviews at 1 star, so the two pools tell different stories about the same product.

  • A burst of 5-star posts: 16 of the 29 English Trustpilot reviews went up between Nov 21 and Nov 27, 2025, and 9 of those carry the date Nov 21. Trustpilot also flags that Agorapulse invites customers to review.

  • Incentive tags: 9 of the 10 newest TrustRadius reviews carry an "Incentivized" label, and 8 of them date from Sep 11 to Sep 18, 2023. On Software Advice, 8 of the 25 reviews I read say the reviewer got a nominal incentive.

  • Age: the 25 Software Advice reviews run from May 2019 to Feb 2024, before the Free plan ended and before the current plan table. Two complaints from 2020, about missing drafts and a missing grid planner, describe features the 2026 plans now include.

  • One story on two sites: the Capterra UK review by Adam and the Trustpilot review by Agent Upgrade share the same title and the same billing complaint, one day apart, so I count them as one account of events.

  • Stale listing data: Capterra UK still shows a "Free version" and a $69 starting price on Oct 15, 2026. Neither is current: the Free plan ended on Jul 6, 2026, and Standard now starts at $79 a user a month billed annually.

Reading the four sites together: The 4.6 scores come from people who like the inbox, the approvals and the reports. The 1-star posts carry the risks you plan around: tokens that fail, refunds the policy blocks, and features one tier up.

Limitations to Know Before You Buy#

1. Your whole team shares 10 profiles, and profile 11 costs extra#

Standard, Professional and Advanced each include 10 profiles per organization. Adding a user adds a seat and zero profiles.

For example, an agency with 4 clients on Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn already needs 12 profiles. It pays for 2 profile add-ons on top of the seats, or it moves to a Custom quote.

Count first: list every profile, including each client's Google Business Profile, before you pick a plan, then price the extra slots inside the subscription settings during the trial.

2. Approvals and live chat start at $119 a user#

Standard has no approval workflow, no assignments and email-only support. Professional adds all three.

For example, a writer and a manager who signs off on posts cost 2 x $119 = $238 a month on annual Professional. On Standard, the same pair saves $80 a month but loses the approval step.

Settle seats early: ask support during the trial whether your approver needs a paid seat, because every invited user counts as one when you subscribe.

3. Bulk scheduling, saved replies and sentiment need $149 a user#

Advanced holds bulk scheduling, publishing queues, saved replies, inbox labels, sentiment detection and shared calendars.

For example, a 3-person team that uploads a month of posts from a CSV pays $447 a month on Advanced, against $357 on Professional. That is $1,080 a year for bulk tools and labels.

Keep a list: during the trial, which runs on Advanced, write down every Advanced-only feature you open. If the list is still empty when the trial ends, Professional covers you.

4. Listening, benchmarking and X carry no public price#

Advanced Listening, Advocacy and Competitive Benchmarking each route you to a demo. X Lite and X Plus, the add-ons for X publishing and X inbox, ask you to contact sales.

Get it in writing: if X is one of your main networks, get the X Plus quote in writing before you commit seats, since the per-user price leaves it out.

5. The first year carries no refund#

Monthly plans carry no refund, and first-time annual purchases carry no refund. The partial refund window covers only annual renewals canceled within 30 days of the renewal date.

Pay monthly at first: start on monthly billing for the first month or two if you have any doubt, then switch to annual to save 20% to 25%.

Agorapulse Alternatives Compared on Price#

Pick the alternative by the gap Agorapulse leaves for you: the shared 10-profile cap, the per-user bill, CRM links on Custom only, or buyers who never comment on your page. All five price sets below come from Oct 15, 2026:

Agorapulse Alternative: CommunityTracker#

Image source: the CommunityTracker homepage at https://www.communitytracker.ai/, captured Oct 15, 2026, with mockup names and emails blurred.

My #1 alternative is CommunityTracker if your next customers are asking for a tool in a Reddit, Hacker News or Slack thread and never comment on your brand page.

CommunityTracker scans public threads for posts that ask for a product like yours, scores each one for buying intent and lets you contact the author. Agorapulse only sees the people who come to your profiles.

Its coverage includes Reddit, LinkedIn, X, Slack communities, Discord, GitHub, Hacker News, Product Hunt, Dev.to and Indie Hackers (communitytracker.ai).

Features#

  • Intent scores: AI rates each matching post for buying intent and drafts a reply you can edit.

  • Contact data: one click pulls the author's verified email, LinkedIn profile, company and job title.

  • Contacting leads: you reach the author by email sequence, LinkedIn DM, Reddit reply or an AI voice call.

  • CRM push: leads go to HubSpot with the thread attached, a link Agorapulse keeps for Custom plans.

  • Sign-off: admins can require approval before any outreach message goes out.

  • Market analytics: share of voice on Pro, and community intelligence plus AI visibility on Advanced.

Pricing#

CommunityTracker bills a flat monthly price per account, so headcount does not change the bill. It runs without long-term contracts, you can cancel anytime, and Pro comes with a free trial. Prices from communitytracker.ai/pricing, checked Oct 15, 2026:

  • Free ($0): 1 keyword on Reddit with daily alerts.

  • Starter ($39/month): 4 keywords across Reddit, LinkedIn, Hacker News and GitHub, 5,000 mentions and 100 warm emails a month.

  • Pro ($99/month): 10 keywords on every community, unlimited mentions and warm emails, AI scoring, share of voice and daily Slack alerts.

  • Advanced ($199/month): 20 keywords plus community intelligence, AI visibility and an exporter for share of voice.

For the price of one Agorapulse Professional seat on monthly billing ($149), you could run Pro and still have $50 left.

Pros#

  • A flat price, where Agorapulse adds $119 a month for every Professional user.

  • Pro removes mention caps, so a broad keyword costs nothing extra.

  • It watches Slack communities and Discord, two sources Agorapulse does not monitor.

  • Finding, enriching and contacting a lead happen in one tool.

Cons#

  • No scheduler: no CommunityTracker plan includes scheduling, a content calendar or a brand inbox.

  • No review replies: it does not pull Google reviews, which Agorapulse handles on Standard.

  • Once-a-day alerts: Pro and Advanced send Slack alerts once a day.

  • Gaps in sources: it skips podcasts and newsletters and covers blogs, news and the open web only in part.

  • Entry plan limits: Free watches 1 keyword on Reddit, and Starter leaves out X and Slack.

  • Plan mapping: enrichment, AI voice calls and the HubSpot sync appear on the homepage but on no pricing card, so confirm the tier before you pay.

My search of G2, Capterra, TrustRadius, Trustpilot, Product Hunt, AppSumo and SaaSHub turned up no user reviews of CommunityTracker that I could read.

Summary#

If your pipeline depends on people who ask for recommendations in community threads, run CommunityTracker beside Agorapulse, since neither covers the other's job. With no outside reviews to lean on, start with the free Reddit keyword and judge the leads it surfaces in the first week.

Agorapulse Alternative: Hootsuite#

Image source: the Hootsuite homepage at https://www.hootsuite.com/, captured Oct 15, 2026 in an earlier session that day.

Hootsuite also bills each user, at $99 on Standard against $79 for Agorapulse Standard. The extra $20 buys listening and 5 competitor benchmarks inside the plan, where Agorapulse sells listening as an add-on and saves competitor benchmarking for Advanced.

Features#

  • Scheduling: unlimited scheduling, a drag-and-drop calendar, suggested posting times and a link-in-bio page.

  • Unified inbox: Standard already pulls WhatsApp and Google Business Profile into the same inbox as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, Threads and TikTok.

  • Search history: 7 days of search history on Standard and 30 days with export on Professional.

  • Competitors: 5 tracked on Standard and 20 on Professional.

  • Sign-off flow: starts on Advanced, together with message routing.

Pricing#

Hootsuite sells annual per-user plans and publishes no monthly rate (hootsuite.com/plans, checked Oct 15, 2026):

  • Standard ($99 per user/month billed annually): 10 accounts, the inbox, 7-day listening.

  • Professional ($199 per user/month billed annually): unlimited accounts, inbox automation, 30-day listening.

  • Advanced ($399 per user/month billed annually): approvals, auto-routing, team reports.

  • Enterprise (custom): SSO and advanced listening.

Its trial lasts 14 days and caps posting at 10 to 20 posts a day. Hootsuite's payment terms rule out refunds on paid fees, and plans renew on their own.

Pros#

  • Unlimited accounts on Professional at $199 a user, where Agorapulse needs add-ons or Custom past 10 profiles.

  • Listening comes inside Standard with no demo.

  • 5 competitor benchmarks on Standard.

  • WhatsApp sits in the Standard inbox.

Cons#

  • Approvals cost $399 a user, more than 3 times the $119 Agorapulse Professional seat.

  • No published monthly price, so you can't set a month-to-month seat against the $99 Agorapulse Standard rate.

  • Trustpilot shows 1.3 from 556 reviews, against 4.0 for Agorapulse (checked Oct 15, 2026).

Summary#

Hootsuite wins one Agorapulse matchup: a team past 10 profiles that never needs approvals. Three users with 25 profiles pay $597 a month on Hootsuite Professional, and the same team on Agorapulse pays for 15 profile add-ons or a Custom quote.

Agorapulse Alternative: Sprout Social#

Image source: the Sprout Social homepage at https://sproutsocial.com/, captured Oct 15, 2026 in an earlier session that day.

Sprout Social prices each seat at up to 2.7 times the Agorapulse rate, and in return it reaches review sites and CRMs that Agorapulse keeps off its self-serve plans.

Features#

  • Sprout's inbox: comments, DMs and mentions from Standard, plus reviews from Yelp, TripAdvisor, Trustpilot and Glassdoor.

  • Keyword tracking: 10 brand keywords per group on Standard and Professional, 20 on Advanced.

  • Approvals and bulk tools: both start on Professional.

  • CRM and helpdesk: Salesforce, HubSpot, Zendesk and the Sprout API on Advanced.

  • AI assistant: Trellis, with 100 credits per seat each month.

Pricing#

Prices from sproutsocial.com/pricing, checked Oct 15, 2026:

  • Essentials ($79 per seat/month billed annually, $99 billed monthly): 5 profiles, publishing and reports, no inbox.

  • Standard ($199 per seat/month billed annually, $249 billed monthly): 5 profiles, Smart Inbox, review management, keyword monitoring.

  • Professional ($299 per seat/month billed annually, $399 billed monthly): unlimited profiles, approvals, bulk scheduling, competitor reports.

  • Advanced ($399 per seat/month billed annually, $499 billed monthly): sentiment, the API, Salesforce and HubSpot.

The 30-day trial needs no card. Sprout's terms give no refund for unused prepaid fees, and annual plans renew unless you cancel first.

Pros#

  • Yelp, TripAdvisor, Trustpilot and Glassdoor reviews in the inbox, where Agorapulse covers Google reviews only.

  • Salesforce and HubSpot on a self-serve plan, which Agorapulse reserves for Custom.

  • Unlimited profiles from Professional.

  • 24/5 phone and chat support on every plan.

Cons#

  • Standard costs $199 a seat for 5 profiles, while Agorapulse Standard costs $79 for 10.

  • Essentials has no inbox at the $79 price where Agorapulse Standard includes one.

  • Approvals cost $299 a seat, or $180 more than Agorapulse Professional.

  • Profile 6 pushes every Sprout seat from Standard to Professional.

  • Sprout's Trustpilot score sits at 1.8 across 88 reviews, as of Oct 15, 2026.

Summary#

I would move from Agorapulse to Sprout for one reason: a support team that answers Yelp or TripAdvisor reviews and logs cases in Salesforce. For 3 users that costs $1,197 a month on Sprout Advanced, so get the Agorapulse Custom quote first and compare.

Agorapulse Alternative: Buffer#

Image source: the Buffer homepage at https://buffer.com/, captured Oct 15, 2026 in an earlier session that day.

Buffer bills per connected channel, so a solo marketer with 4 channels pays $20 a month billed annually where Agorapulse Standard costs $79.

Features#

  • Posting tools: a queue and calendar, first-comment scheduling, and thread posts on X, Threads, Bluesky and Mastodon.

  • Comments: replies on 10 networks with AI help and saved replies.

  • Performance data: insights with CSV and PDF exports, plus branded reports on Team.

  • Collaboration: unlimited users, approvals and access controls on Team.

Pricing#

Prices from buffer.com/pricing, checked Oct 15, 2026:

  • Free ($0): 1 user, 3 channels and up to 10 queued posts per channel.

  • Essentials ($5 per channel/month billed annually, $6 monthly): unlimited posts, 1 user.

  • Team ($10 per channel/month billed annually, $12 monthly): any number of users, approval steps and branded reports.

The trial runs 14 days and falls back to the Free plan if you add no payment method.

Pros#

  • A free plan with 3 channels, which Agorapulse dropped in July 2026.

  • Unlimited users on Team, so a fourth person adds $0.

  • Approvals for $100 a month on 10 channels, against $357 for 3 Agorapulse Professional users.

Cons#

  • You get no listening, keyword alerts or competitor reports on any plan.

  • Replies cover comments and Google reviews, with no DMs.

  • Essentials stops at a single user.

  • On Trustpilot, Buffer holds 3.9 from 130 reviews (Oct 15, 2026).

Summary#

Buffer fits a team that schedules and replies to comments. If DMs drive your support work, Buffer leaves them out, and you end up back on an inbox tool.

Final Verdict: Is Agorapulse Worth It in 2026?#

Yes, for teams of 2 to 5 people who work an inbox of comments, DMs and Google reviews on 10 profiles or fewer and need someone to approve posts. Professional at $119 a user a month, billed annually, covers that team for $357 a month at 3 users.

The answer turns to no in three cases. A solo marketer who only schedules pays less on Buffer Essentials at $5 per channel. A team that hunts buyers in Reddit or Slack threads needs CommunityTracker Pro at $99 a month, and a team past 10 profiles should price Hootsuite Professional's unlimited accounts first.

Buy Agorapulse if:

  • 2 to 5 people share up to 10 profiles and need approvals: Professional adds one-step approvals, assignments and live chat at $119 a user.

  • You work alone but answer the inbox every day: Standard covers comments, DMs and Google reviews for $948 a year.

  • You run an agency that sends branded reports: white-label exports come on Standard, and the ROI report ties posts to Google Analytics.

Skip Agorapulse if:

  • You post alone and never open an inbox: Buffer Essentials on 4 channels costs $240 a year against $948.

  • Your buyers ask for tools in community threads: Agorapulse only sees people who reach your own profiles.

  • You manage more than 10 profiles: each extra profile needs an add-on or a Custom quote, while Hootsuite Professional includes unlimited accounts.

  • You need Salesforce or HubSpot sync on a self-serve plan: Agorapulse keeps both on Custom.

I would buy Professional for a 3-person agency team running 3 clients on 9 profiles, at $4,284 a year. I would not buy it for a 6-person team on 30 profiles, because 20 profile add-ons with no public price leave the bill open until sales quotes it.

Start here: open the trial, connect the 10 profiles that get the most comments, send one post per network through an approval, and price any extra profiles in the subscription settings before the trial ends. Agorapulse lists 30 days on pricing, and one help article still says 15, so check your trial end date in the app.

FAQs#

1. Is Agorapulse worth it in 2026? For a 2 to 5 person team answering comments, DMs and Google reviews on up to 10 profiles with post approvals, yes: Professional costs $119 a user a month billed annually. A solo inbox manager fits Standard at $79, solo schedulers spend less on Buffer Essentials, community lead hunters fit CommunityTracker Pro at $99 a month, and teams past 10 profiles should compare Hootsuite Professional. Run the 30-day trial before you pay.

2. How much does Agorapulse cost? Standard costs $79, Professional $119 and Advanced $149 per user per month billed annually, or $99, $149 and $199 billed monthly (checked Oct 2026). Custom is a quote. Multiply by your user count, then add any profile past 10.

3. Does Agorapulse have a free plan? Not anymore. Agorapulse ended the Free plan on Jul 6, 2026, for new and existing users (help center). You get a 30-day trial with no card, and a free Archie plan for AI post creation on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and YouTube.

4. Can I get a refund from Agorapulse? Monthly plans and first annual purchases get no refund (checked Oct 2026). A partial refund may apply when you cancel an annual self-service renewal within 30 days of the renewal date. Pay monthly first if you are unsure.

5. How do I cancel Agorapulse? The organization Owner opens the Subscription settings and clicks Cancel subscription. Access lasts until the paid period ends. Custom plans need an email to cs@agorapulse.com at least 60 days before renewal.

6. Does Agorapulse include social listening? Not in the plan price. Advanced Listening is an add-on for mentions across social, blogs and news, and Agorapulse quotes it through a demo (checked Oct 2026). Ask for that price before you choose seats.
