Talkwalker Review 2026: 36 Reviews and No Public Price

I read 36 Talkwalker user reviews, the 3 plans on the pricing page and the Enterprise Terms. No plan has a public price, and contracts renew for a year unless you give 60 days' notice.

Talkwalker Review 2026: 36 Reviews and No Public Price

On Capterra, Talkwalker holds 4.4 from 24 reviews, and the newest one dates from Feb 3, 2025 (checked Oct 16, 2026). If you plan a 2026 purchase, most of that praise describes a product that has since changed owner, name and plans.

Hootsuite agreed to buy Talkwalker in April 2024 (closed May 2024), and in June 2026 renamed it Lumen by Talkwalker (checked Oct 16, 2026). You now pick from Core, Analyze and Business plans, and none of them has a public price. Reviewers flag the cost: Karan R. wrote that "The pricing module, seems expensive" (Capterra, Feb 3, 2025). Your quote is the only place the result volume and the months of history get a number.

My view: get the result volume and the months of history in writing before you weigh any review score, since those two numbers decide what your quote buys.

Below, you get the 3 plans, what 36 users report, the renewal terms, the limits to check before you sign and 4 alternatives.

TL;DR#

  • What it is: an enterprise social listening and media monitoring platform, now sold by Hootsuite as Lumen by Talkwalker.

  • Price: quote only on all 3 plans (Core, Analyze, Business), with unlimited users on each (checked Oct 16, 2026).

  • What the quote sets: your results volume (Analyze doubles Core, Business multiplies it by 6), your topic count and, on Business, extra history.

  • Contract: plans renew for one-year periods unless you send written notice at least 60 days before the term ends.

  • Ratings: 4.4 from 24 on Capterra and Software Advice, 8.1/10 from 45 on TrustRadius and 2.6 from 4 on Trustpilot (checked Oct 16, 2026).

  • My call: Buy Talkwalker if you run a global insights or PR team that needs news, social, forums and podcasts in one place across many languages, and you can get the results volume, the history and the renewal cap written into the order form. If you want a public price for brand monitoring, Brand24 starts at $199 a month billed yearly. If you want to find buyers asking for a tool like yours on Reddit, LinkedIn or Slack, CommunityTracker Pro costs $99 a month.

How I Analyzed Talkwalker#

  • Reviews: I read 36 reviews of the paid platform: 24 on Capterra (the same Gartner pool feeds Software Advice and Capterra UK), 10 on TrustRadius and 2 on Trustpilot. I left out 2 other Trustpilot reviews, one about Talkwalker's web crawler and one about the free Alerts sign-up.

  • Plans: I read the Talkwalker pricing page on Oct 16, 2026 and noted what each plan adds over the one below it.

  • Terms: I read the Talkwalker Enterprise Terms of Service (last modified Jul 29, 2025), sections 6 and 7, for renewal, termination, refunds and payment.

  • Ownership: I confirmed the Hootsuite deal and the Lumen name in press coverage from 2024 and June 2026.

  • Rival tools: I compared CommunityTracker, Brandwatch, YouScan and Brand24 on prices checked Oct 15 and 16, 2026.

  • Not covered: I have no Talkwalker account, so I make no claims about speed or data quality beyond what users report. G2 did not load for me, so I leave its count out.

Talkwalker#

Source: Talkwalker homepage, talkwalker.com, captured Oct 16, 2026. The logo now reads "Lumen by Talkwalker".

Talkwalker started in Luxembourg in 2009 and had about 400 staff when Hootsuite bought all of it in 2024. It collects posts and articles from 30+ social platforms and 150 million websites, in 187 languages and 196 countries, by its own count on the pricing page.

You use it to track brands, campaigns, competitors and topics, then read the results in dashboards, alerts and reports. Inside Hootsuite, the same engine powers the Lumen listening module, which Hootsuite reserves for its Enterprise plan. I cover that side in my Hootsuite review.

The point I keep coming back to: Talkwalker sells volume. Every plan above Core is described as a multiple of the Core results volume, and the page never states the Core number. So the most important figure in your purchase lives in your quote.

Features#

  • Listening and media monitoring: social networks, news, blogs, forums, reviews, podcasts and AI answers in one search, with Boolean queries. A Director of R&D on TrustRadius wrote that "Boolean searches are flexible, including a lot of advanced boolean terms" (Feb 23, 2022).

  • Quick search: an instant audit of any brand or topic with mentions, sentiment and topic splits. Karan R. used it to "do an audit for any brand or topic quickly" (Capterra, Feb 3, 2025).

  • Wisdom: peak detection, forecasting and AI summaries, on every plan.

  • AI Agent: you ask questions about your data in plain language. Business adds more questions.

  • LLM Insights: tracks how AI assistants talk about your brand and industry. Business adds more channels.

  • IQ Apps: pre-built dashboards for set use cases.

  • Dashboards, reports and alerts: custom dashboards and scheduled email reports, plus the Command Center for live screens.

  • Talkwalker Alerts: a separate free tool that emails keyword mentions, often compared with Google Alerts. For the free route, see how Google Alerts work.

Features, my read: the AI tools sit on every plan, so moving up buys you volume, topics and history. That makes the Core baseline the number to pin down first.

Pricing#

Source: Talkwalker pricing page, talkwalker.com/pricing, captured Oct 16, 2026. All three plans end in a "Select" button that leads to a quote request.

The page opens with "Pick your plan to get a custom quote", and no plan carries a figure. Here is what each plan states, checked Oct 16, 2026:

  • Core (quote only): listening and monitoring, topic and channel analytics, dashboards, Wisdom, the AI Agent, LLM Insights and IQ Apps, with "non-sampled results" at a volume the page does not state, and unlimited users.

  • Analyze (quote only, marked most popular): everything in Core, 2x the non-sampled results volume and 25 more topics, filters and channels.

  • Business (quote only): everything in Analyze, 6x the Core results volume, 3x more topics, filters and channels, additional historical data, more AI questions and more workspaces.

Every plan includes onboarding, training courses, regional support and strategy reviews.

The terms add the money rules your quote won't mention:

  • Invoices: due within 30 days unless your authorization form sets other terms (section 7.2).

  • Late payment: interest of up to 12% a year, and Talkwalker can suspend your access 10 days after a written notice (section 7.3).

  • Renewal: each authorization form renews for another year unless either side sends written notice at least 60 days before the term ends. You send yours to csm@talkwalker.com (section 6.2).

  • Price increases: if Talkwalker tells you about a renewal increase less than 90 days before the term ends, you get 30 days from that notice to opt out (section 6.2).

For example, on a contract ending Dec 31, your opt-out deadline falls around Nov 1. Miss it, and you pay for another full year at the renewal price.

Pricing, my read: a quote-only price is normal at this level. What worries me is that the page gives you multiples of a base you can't see. Ask for the Core results number, the months of history and a cap on renewal increases, all in the authorization form.

Pros#

  • Unlimited users on every plan, so a PR, insights and marketing team can share one contract without seat counts.

  • Wide source coverage in 187 languages, which suits a global team. Jeremy Cowles wrote of a "Truly global listening platform" on TrustRadius (Mar 29, 2018).

  • Boolean depth for complex queries, so an analyst can build precise topics.

  • Wisdom, the AI Agent and LLM Insights come on Core, so the entry plan carries the AI tools.

  • Support draws praise across the years, from Guido N. in 2020 to the TrustRadius reviewers in 2022.

Cons#

  • No public price: you can't budget before a demo, and reviewers from 2018 to 2026 flag the cost.

  • Unstated baseline: the page sells 2x and 6x the Core volume without stating the Core volume, so you can't compare plans without a quote.

  • Renewal risk: contracts renew for a year on 60 days' notice, and a Trustpilot reviewer in April 2026 reported a 25% increase.

  • Learning curve: reviewers from 2019 to 2022 describe Boolean setup as hard for new users.

  • Sentiment and tagging: several reviewers correct sentiment by hand or redo tags.

  • Old review pool: the newest Capterra review dates from February 2025, before the Lumen name and the current plans.

Summary#

I think Talkwalker fits a global team that needs wide coverage and has the budget and the patience for a sales cycle. Reviewers praise the product year after year. The pricing model asks you to trust a number you can't see, so your quote does the real work here.

  • Pick it if: you track brands across many countries and languages, need news, forums and podcasts next to social, and want unlimited users.

  • Skip it if: you need a public price, a self-serve trial or month-to-month billing.

What Real Users Are Saying About Talkwalker in 2026#

I read 36 reviews of the paid platform. Most date from 2019 to 2022, so read them as a picture of the pre-Hootsuite product.

Capterra: 4.4/5 (24 reviews, checked Oct 16, 2026)#

Source: Capterra UK, Lumen by Talkwalker overview, https://www.capterra.co.uk/reviews/161487/talkwalker, captured Oct 16, 2026. The rating panel reads 4.4 from 24 reviews, 96% positive, and "Not provided by vendor" for price.

Capterra scores ease of use at 4.4 and customer service at 4.3. Software Advice carries the same 24 reviews at 4.4 and adds value for money at 4.1, the lowest of its four scores. Capterra UK also reads 4.4 from 24. All three draw on one Gartner pool, so treat them as one data point.

TrustRadius: 8.1/10 (45 reviews and ratings, checked Oct 16, 2026)#

On TrustRadius, the newest written review I could see dates from Feb 25, 2022.

Trustpilot: 2.6/5 (4 reviews, checked Oct 16, 2026)#

Source: Trustpilot, Talkwalker company page, https://www.trustpilot.com/review/talkwalker.com, captured Oct 16, 2026. The panel reads 2.6 from 4 reviews, with no recent history of asking for reviews.

Trustpilot holds the only 2026 reviews I found. Two of the four concern the paid platform. The other two cover the web crawler and the free Alerts sign-up, and I leave them out of my count.

The 36 in my title counts 2 Trustpilot reviews, because the other 2 cover the web crawler and the free Alerts sign-up, which sit outside the paid product.

What users liked#

  1. Conversation analytics and quick search. Karan R. wrote: "Talkwalker is an amazing Social Listening tool, the conversations analytic that the tool provides is outstanding" (Capterra, Feb 3, 2025).

  2. Forecasting real events. Mustafa F. used it on an election campaign: "We traced all social media, got feedback after our candidate's any moves and we could foresee the political issues before they happened by using talkwalker" (Capterra, Mar 18, 2022).

  3. Granular filters. A research analyst wrote that it "allows for granular analysis down to region, language, device, among others" (Capterra, Jul 1, 2022).

  4. Speed to the first answer. Gerald H. wrote: "Unlike most social listening tools where I would take awhile to get used to, it took me mins to get what I needed exactly" (Capterra, May 5, 2020).

  5. Support. Guido N. wrote: "Support is great: whenever you have doubts or problems, they are available to help you find the best solution to your needs (mail, phone, virtual meeting)" (Capterra, Dec 5, 2020).

  6. AI tagging and Boolean depth. A Director of R&D wrote that the "AI feature allows us to save time cleaning data or manually tagging specific themes" (TrustRadius, Feb 23, 2022).

  7. Reporting for leadership. Leo K. wrote in German that the Command Center "generiert beste Top Management Attention" (draws the best top management attention) (Capterra, Jan 31, 2022).

  8. Dashboards and crisis alerts. A digital analyst praised it as "super helpful managing the sentiment, super cool in widgets and reporting" with "crisis monitoring" (Capterra, Feb 5, 2022).

I believe the analytics, filter and support praise most. It repeats across reviewers in different jobs from 2018 to 2025, and the newest review (Karan R.) repeats it. I weigh the "took me mins" claim with care, because six other reviewers describe a steep start.

What users disliked#

  1. The price. Karan R. wrote: "The pricing module, seems expensive. there are competitive tools in the market who provide less amount pacakge" (Capterra, Feb 3, 2025). Enes Y. wrote that "it is not a suitable application for those who do not have a budget" (Capterra, Jun 10, 2022). Vishal Wadkar put it plainly: "It's pretty expensive. Good, but expensive" (TrustRadius, Nov 29, 2019).

  2. A renewal increase. A Trustpilot reviewer wrote that "now they ask us for a 25% price increase," adding that the team was moving to another tool (Trustpilot, Apr 21, 2026).

Source: Trustpilot, review by Findahobby (GR), 1 star, "Increasing prices yet again", Apr 21, 2026, https://www.trustpilot.com/reviews/69e7a4f70a1f8faf8426192e, captured Oct 16, 2026. The reviewer reports a 25% price increase and a move to another tool.

Source: Capterra, review by Karan R., Manager Social Listening, Market Research, 5.0, "Transforming Social Listening Tool", Feb 3, 2025, https://www.capterra.com/p/161487/Talkwalker/reviews/, captured Oct 16, 2026. The pros cover conversation analytics and quick search, and the cons note the pricing.

  1. The learning curve. Mustafa F. wrote: "It is really difficult to learn all the specifications and you really need to have a course about the usage" (Capterra, Mar 18, 2022). Maria B. added that "you need to be pretty familiar with boolean queries" (Software Advice, Jul 2019).

  2. Sentiment you fix by hand. Guido N. found automatic sentiment "requiring a lot of manual work to correct the platform suggestions" (Capterra, Dec 5, 2020). A social media analyst rated sentiment tagging "very poor" (Capterra, Aug 18, 2019).

  3. Numbers that change on export. The same analyst wrote that "it shows different data on the dashboard and when we download it then data count become different" (Capterra, Aug 18, 2019).

  4. Tagging bugs. An analyst wrote: "The tagging feature is buggy and often needs to be done twice to tag the mentions applied in the rule" (TrustRadius, Feb 25, 2022).

  5. Coverage gaps. The Director of R&D wanted better tracking of "some social platforms, such as LinkedIn" and better "forum coverage in non-English markets" (TrustRadius, Feb 23, 2022). In 2020, Guido N. and Gerald H. both reported thin Facebook and Instagram data, which no newer review repeats.

  6. Reports and UX. namitha B. wrote that "Reports can not be customised as desired" (Capterra, Nov 28, 2019). A Trustpilot reviewer wrote of "Clunky UX and results which you can basically get from Google trends or other free sources" (Trustpilot, Sep 26, 2022).

I believe the price complaints most. They run from 2018 on Software Advice to April 2026 on Trustpilot, and the 2026 terms (yearly auto-renewal, increases announced at renewal) explain how a 25% rise can land. The learning-curve complaints also repeat from 2019 to 2022. I give the 2019 export and sentiment complaints less weight, because they predate the AI tools on today's plans.

Can you trust these ratings in 2026?#

  • Age: 23 of 24 Capterra reviews predate 2025, and the visible TrustRadius reviews stop in 2022. None describes the Core, Analyze and Business plans.

  • Incentives: Software Advice marks many reviews as invited with a nominal incentive.

  • One pool: Capterra, Software Advice and Capterra UK share the same 24 reviews.

  • Small Trustpilot sample: 4 reviews, 2 of them off-product. The April 2026 renewal complaint matters for its date more than its score.

My take: trust the reviews on coverage and support, and trust the price complaints. For the 2026 product, your demo and your quote are the better evidence.

Limitations to Know Before You Buy#

1. No plan has a public price#

You can't compare Talkwalker with a public price list before a sales call. Every plan ends in a quote request, and no trial runs without a demo. Plan a few weeks for the sales cycle.

2. The Core results volume is not stated#

Analyze offers 2x and Business 6x the Core volume, and the page never names the Core figure. Ask for the monthly results cap of each plan as a number, and ask what happens when you pass it.

3. History is a Business feature#

Only Business includes "additional historical data". If you need year-on-year reports, ask how many months Core and Analyze keep, and price Business before you assume you can stay on Core.

4. Contracts renew for a year on 60 days' notice#

This is the limit I'd put on your calendar first. Each authorization form renews for one year unless you send written notice to csm@talkwalker.com at least 60 days before the term ends.

5. Renewal increases come with a 30-day window#

If Talkwalker announces a price increase less than 90 days before your term ends, you get 30 days from the notice to opt out. A reviewer reported a 25% increase in April 2026. Ask for a renewal cap in the order form.

6. Refunds apply only when you terminate for cause#

Under section 6.4, you get prepaid fees back for the remaining period only if you end the contract for Talkwalker's uncured breach (30 days to cure, section 6.3). If Talkwalker ends it for your breach, you owe the rest of the term.

Talkwalker Alternatives Compared on Price#

Talkwalker Alternative: CommunityTracker#

Source: CommunityTracker homepage, https://www.communitytracker.ai/. I captured it on Oct 15, 2026 and blurred the names and emails in the product mockup.

CommunityTracker is my #1 alternative if what you want from listening is new customers. Talkwalker measures what people post about your brand. CommunityTracker finds posts where someone asks for a product like yours, scores the buying intent, finds the author's contact details and helps you reach out.

It watches Reddit, LinkedIn, X, Slack, Discord, Hacker News, GitHub and Indie Hackers, and covers blogs and news in part (communitytracker.ai/pricing).

Features#

  • Signal detection: AI flags posts that ask for tools, alternatives or fixes in your niche, with an intent score on each.

  • Enrichment: adds a verified email, LinkedIn profile, company and job title to the author.

  • Outreach: email sequences, LinkedIn requests and DMs, Reddit replies and AI voice calls, written around the original post.

  • HubSpot: pushes leads to the CRM with the thread attached.

  • Analytics: share of voice on Pro, and community intelligence and AI visibility on Advanced.

Pricing#

One monthly price per plan, no long-term contract and cancellation at any time, checked Oct 15, 2026 on communitytracker.ai/pricing:

  • Free ($0): 1 Reddit keyword, with alerts once a day.

  • Starter ($39/month): 4 keywords across Reddit, LinkedIn, Hacker News and GitHub, with 5,000 mentions and 100 warm emails a month at most.

  • Pro ($99/month): 10 keywords across every supported community, no cap on mentions or warm emails, AI scoring, share of voice and a daily Slack alert. Pro has a free trial.

  • Advanced ($199/month, through sales): 20 keywords, community intelligence, a share of voice exporter and AI visibility.

Pros#

  • A public price and monthly billing, so you skip the 60-day notice clock Talkwalker sets.

  • Slack and Discord coverage, two sources outside Talkwalker's list.

  • Lead finding, enrichment and the first message in one tool, so you need no separate outreach app.

  • A free plan to test one Reddit keyword before you pay.

Cons#

  • No podcasts or review sites: a PR team that reports on earned media keeps Talkwalker or a peer.

  • Partial news and blog coverage: it can't replace a media monitoring contract.

  • No PR reporting: no earned media value or white-label reports.

  • Daily Slack alerts: Pro and Advanced alert once a day, so a new thread can wait up to a day.

  • Starter gaps: Starter leaves out X and Slack, so Slack buyers need Pro at $99.

  • No outside reviews yet: I found no readable user reviews on G2, Capterra, TrustRadius or Trustpilot (checked Oct 15, 2026).

Summary#

I think CommunityTracker is my pick next to Talkwalker for a B2B or SaaS team whose buyers ask for tools in subreddits and Slack groups. It costs $99 a month on Pro with no annual lock-in, and it turns those threads into leads.

  • Pick it if: you want leads from community threads and a price you can see.

  • Skip it if: you need global news or PR reports. Start on the free Reddit keyword and count the posts you would answer in week one.

Talkwalker Alternative: Brandwatch#

Source: Brandwatch homepage, brandwatch.com, captured Oct 16, 2026 for an earlier review and reused here, with the webinar bar in view.

Brandwatch is the closest enterprise peer: another quote-only suite, now part of Cision. Pick it over Talkwalker when archive depth matters most. My Brandwatch review covers it in full.

Features#

  • Archive: 1.7 trillion conversations back to 2010.

  • Iris: an AI assistant that summarizes data, plus classifiers and image analysis for logos and scenes.

  • Dashboards: 50+ live visualizations, exports to Excel, PowerPoint and PDF, and the API.

  • Suite: listening, social media management, influencer marketing and search intelligence as separate solutions.

Pricing#

Brandwatch sells each solution through a demo with no public price (checked Oct 16, 2026). See my Brandwatch pricing guide for how the quote works.

Pros#

  • History back to 2010, so year-on-year studies work from day one without a Business-tier upgrade.

  • Image analysis inside listening.

  • Publishing and influencer tools from one vendor.

Cons#

  • No public price, so you face the same budgeting problem as with Talkwalker.

  • No self-serve trial.

  • 2.0 from 21 on Trustpilot and 4.2 from 255 on Software Advice (checked Oct 16, 2026), with contract complaints on Trustpilot.

Summary#

I'd get a Brandwatch quote next to your Talkwalker quote for the same topic list. Swapping one quote-only suite for another fixes nothing on price, so let archive depth and coverage decide.

  • Pick it if: you need history back to 2010 and one vendor for listening, publishing and influencers.

  • Skip it if: you want a public price or a small contract. More options sit in my Brandwatch alternatives list.

Talkwalker Alternative: YouScan#

Source: YouScan homepage, youscan.io, captured Oct 16, 2026 for an earlier review and reused here.

YouScan suits a brand or insight team that wants visual listening and at least one public price. Starter costs $499 a month billed annually, with unlimited users like Talkwalker.

Features#

  • Visual Insights: logo and object recognition in images, as a module.

  • Insights Copilot: an AI agent that answers questions about your topics, about 10 a month on Starter.

  • Sources: social networks, TikTok, news, blogs, forums and reviews.

Pricing#

Checked Oct 16, 2026:

  • Starter ($499/month, billed annually): 3 fixed topics, 5,000 new mentions per topic per month and 30 days of history.

  • Listen, Analyze and Enterprise: quote only.

Pros#

  • A public entry price, so you can budget a small brief before a demo.

  • Unlimited users, matching Talkwalker.

  • 4.9 from 125 reviews on Software Advice, with many from 2025 and 2026, a newer pool than Talkwalker's.

Cons#

  • Starter holds 3 topics and can't add a fourth.

  • The terms bar downgrades, and fees are non-refundable.

  • Logo and audio tools cost extra on every plan.

Summary#

I'd look at YouScan if your Talkwalker brief is small and visual. For a 3-topic brand watch, $5,988 a year is a known figure, and Talkwalker can't give you one without a call. Read my YouScan review for the topic math.

  • Pick it if: you need image or TikTok listening on 3 topics with a known price.

  • Skip it if: you track more than 3 topics or want month-to-month billing.

Talkwalker Alternative: Brand24#

Source: Brand24 homepage, brand24.com, captured Oct 15, 2026 for an earlier review and reused here.

Brand24 gives you the full public price list Talkwalker lacks, plus a 30-day money-back guarantee on standard plans. It fits a marketing team that wants brand monitoring without a sales cycle.

Features#

  • Sources by plan: social, news, blogs and Reddit from Individual; LinkedIn, YouTube and TikTok from Team; review sites, newsletters and Twitch from Pro; podcasts on Business.

  • AI: sentiment on every plan, and the AI Brand Assistant from Pro.

  • Reports: storm alerts on every plan, and white-label and PowerPoint reports from Pro.

Pricing#

Checked Oct 15, 2026:

  • Individual ($199/month billed yearly, $249 billed monthly): 1 user, 3 keywords, 2,000 mentions.

  • Team ($299/month billed yearly, $349 monthly): unlimited users, 7 keywords, 10,000 mentions.

  • Pro ($399/month billed yearly, $499 monthly): 12 keywords, 40,000 mentions.

  • Business ($599/month billed yearly, $699 monthly): 25 keywords, 100,000 mentions, podcasts.

  • Enterprise (from $1,499/month billed yearly): limits set by contract.

Pros#

  • A public price on every plan, so you can budget in minutes.

  • A 30-day money-back guarantee, against Talkwalker's refund only on termination for cause.

  • No overage charges past the mention cap.

  • A 14-day trial with no card.

Cons#

  • Individual gives only 2,000 mentions, so busy brands need Pro or above.

  • Fewer languages and countries than Talkwalker's 187 and 196.

  • The API costs $149 extra on Pro and Business.

Summary#

I'd pick Brand24 if your Talkwalker quote is mostly paying for coverage you won't use. Pro at $399 a month billed yearly covers 40,000 mentions with a refund window. See my Brand24 review for the plan math.

  • Pick it if: you want a public price, monthly billing and a refund window.

  • Skip it if: you need deep archives or many languages.

Final Verdict: Is Talkwalker Worth It in 2026?#

Yes, for a global brand, PR or insights team that needs social, news, forums and podcasts in one place across many languages, and can negotiate the contract. Reviewers back the coverage, the filters and the support from 2018 to 2025.

No, if you need a price before a demo, month-to-month billing or a refund window. The pricing page sells multiples of a volume it never states, and the terms renew your contract for a year unless you act 60 days ahead.

What I'd do before signing:

  1. Get the Core results volume, the plan's monthly cap and the months of history as numbers in the authorization form.

  2. Ask for a cap on renewal increases, given the 25% rise a reviewer reported in April 2026.

  3. Put the non-renewal deadline (60 days before term end) in your calendar on day one.

  4. Get a Brandwatch quote for the same topic list.

If you came to Talkwalker for leads from community threads, CommunityTracker Pro at $99 a month does that without an annual contract. If you need a public price for brand monitoring, Brand24 starts at $199 a month billed yearly.

FAQs#

Is Talkwalker worth it in 2026?#

For a global insights or PR team with an enterprise budget, yes, provided your quote states the results volume, the history and a renewal cap. For small teams or anyone who needs a public price, Brand24 or CommunityTracker fit better.

How much does Talkwalker cost?#

No plan has a public price (checked Oct 16, 2026). Core, Analyze and Business all go through a custom quote, and the price depends on your results volume, topic count and history.

Who owns Talkwalker now?#

Hootsuite. It agreed to buy Talkwalker in April 2024, closed the deal in May 2024 and renamed the product Lumen by Talkwalker in June 2026.

Does Talkwalker have a free trial?#

The pricing page offers no self-serve trial. You request a demo. The separate Talkwalker Alerts tool is free and sends keyword alerts by email.

How do I cancel Talkwalker?#

Send written non-renewal notice to csm@talkwalker.com at least 60 days before your term ends. Otherwise the contract renews for another year.

Does Talkwalker refund unused fees?#

Only if you terminate for cause after Talkwalker fails to fix a material breach within 30 days. Then you get back prepaid fees for the period after termination.

Is Talkwalker the same as Hootsuite Listening?#

The same engine powers both. Hootsuite puts advanced Lumen listening inside its Enterprise plan, and Talkwalker sells Lumen as its own Core, Analyze and Business plans.

What is a good Talkwalker alternative?#

CommunityTracker if you want leads from Reddit, LinkedIn or Slack threads at $99 a month on Pro. Brandwatch for a deeper archive, YouScan for visual listening on a public Starter price, and Brand24 for a full public price list.
